Although spring has just barley sprung, its time to start thinking about sending your guests invitations to your fall wedding. We're happily working away on July and August wedding invites right now, just about ready to hit print! Next up in the cue are September and October weddings.
The wedding invitation process usually takes anywhere from 3 - 6 weeks, depending on what you're looking for. It's best to book an appointment now to get the process started.
We usually recommend you send your invites out about 4 - 5 months in advance, especially for destination weddings (where most of your guests are travelling to another town). If you live in Calgary, but are getting married in Canmore or Banff, your guests will need the time to book hotels and possibly time off depending on the day of the week that your wedding falls on.
Our favourite colours right now for fall weddings are Burgundy with Ivory and Gold or Black. Fig with Silver and Ivory. Or Navy with Ivory and Gold. All very classic and clean colour palates.
